30° Banked 90 Curve Flat End - 1:64 Diecast comp

Updated - Uploaded a two-piece print configuration for this design. This two-piece design allows curves to be printed without any additional support besides the small brim. No support means that tracks and walls can now be printed smoothly, without any imperfections left by the support. This saves over 10 grams of filament and more than 45 minutes of printing time.

It uses a common removable connector to connect the two halves of the curve. I chose this method over other methods because it's simple and effective. As always, please contact me if any issues arise. I'm developing a wider version of this curve, available in three sizes, similar to my curve pack, so stay tuned.

90-degree bend with flat connector end - compatible with Hot Wheels. My son wanted a 90-degree bend with a flat connector. So we made it.

My other 90-degree bend is angled from one connector to another, so it can only connect a limited number of things.

This version is laid flat and utilizes the standard flat connector orientation, allowing it to be directly connected to other track components, curves, etc. You can complete a circle as shown in the pictures. (Three of the curves are my non-tilted 90-degree curves, to demonstrate the effect.)

This sloping corner isn't as effective for high-speed racing as my other sloping corners, but my kid loves it.

I designed them with a tight fit in mind, so depending on the connector you choose, you may need to push it into place from the bottom. The latest Windmill-style connectors have the tightest fit. They are very robust and can withstand being stepped on; so far, even intentional trampling has not damaged them.

I recommend choosing either of these two printing orientations for printing.

Compared to printing flat, this orientation allows the tracks to become smoother due to layer texture. If printing flat, you'll need to lower the layer height to make the track surface as smooth as possible.

The supported walls won't be very smooth. You can clean them if you want, but they won't affect the race car.
