Description

A beautiful decorative jar featuring a chiseled stone texture and a detailed sakura flower lid. Designed for home decor and keeping your items organized.

The model is compatible with both multi-color and single color printing.

Scaling:

Can be scaled freely to suit your needs.

Print Settings:

Important: I highly recommend using the provided print profile unless you are an experienced user. The top lid contains complex curves across the top surface stone texture and flower petals that standard slicer settings do not handle well. This profile has been specifically optimized for a clean, high-quality finish.

Bottom Part:

  • Walls: 2
  • Layer Height: 0.2 mm
  • Infill: 5% (Gyroid)

Top Lid (Sakura):

  • Layer Height: 0.12 mm
  • Walls: 3
  • Infill: 10% (Rectilinear)
  • Line Width: 0.25 mm (for outer wall, inner wall, and top surface).
    • Note: Using generic 0.42 mm settings will leave visible layer lines on the curved surfaces.
  • Surface Pattern: Concentric (top and bottom)
  • Top Surface: "Only one wall on top surfaces" is disabled.
  • Supports: Custom grid supports applied to the build plate only. Designed to be removed easily in one piece.

Tips for Silk Filaments

The standard profile speed is optimized for matte or standard PLA. If you choose to print with Silk filament, I recommend adjusting the speed for a shinier, streak-free result. Silk is sensitive to heat and speed changes, which can cause surface irregularities.

Recommended Silk Settings:

  • Outer Wall: 40 mm/s
  • Inner Wall: 40 mm/s
  • Top Surface: 40 mm/s
  • Keep all other speeds at default. Check your specific filament spool for temperature recommendations; lower speeds generally benefit from slightly lower nozzle temperatures.

I’m always looking to improve my designs, so if you print one, please feel free to share a photo! I’d love to see what color combos you come up with.

All feedback, ideas and requests are very welcome!
