What's different in this remix:
- Added hang loop at the top of the handle — tie rope or cord through it to extend reach further, useful for users with more severe mobility restrictions
- Fuzzy grip texture on the handle — improves friction and one-handed control
- Fuzzy texture on the sock-securing ridge — a common complaint with the original design is that the sock slips off the tool before it reaches the foot. The textured ridge grips the sock cuff significantly better and resolves this issue
- Sliced in strength mode (not draft) — stronger layer bonding throughout
- Printed in ABS — higher temperature resistance and impact toughness vs. the original PETG recommendation. However, PETG should also work well and is recommended if you don't have access to ABS or an enclosure, as it retains the slight flexibility that helps when stretching the sock over the frame. PLA is not recommended due to brittleness under repeated flex stress.
New print profiles included with the fuzzing geometry baked in.
All original usage instructions and ergonomic geometry are preserved. See the original listing for the full how-to guide.
