Description
My wife suffers from arthritis and has difficulty removing the pull tabs that seem to be on every can from soup to soda. She found a tool on the web and I decided to copy it based solely on the photo and description. I used Fusion 360 and started with an imported and scaled “canvas” to create the outline. I made two copies of the body with pins on one half and holes on the other. The pins keep the halves aligned while being glued with a couple of drops of superglue.
This is a two piece print allows you to print the top and bottom of the model on a textured or decorative build plate. I printed mine on a JUUPINE build plate with a carbon fiber texture. With 100 percent infill, it feels like a metal tool in your hands.
