4mm Magnetic Screwdriver with Screw-in Storage Cap

This is a precision screwdriver with a screw-in storage cap, designed to hold up to 4 standard 4mm bits so you can easily switch between them during use.

It’s designed to work with 4mm diameter × 2mm thick magnets, which hold the bits securely without adding too much resistance. I used magnets from AliExpress, but you can also find them listed in the Bill of Materials.

You can simply drop the magnets into place after printing and secure them with a small amount of glue.

Alternatively, you can pause the print to insert them mid-print for a cleaner result:

• At 34 min → insert the 4 magnets in the storage cap
• At 2h 32 min → insert the magnet in the screwdriver tip

Versions available (see print profiles):

• Magnetic version – for easy bit retention
• Non-magnetic version – tighter fit to prevent bits from slipping out
