Traffic Message Board - 1:87 Scale (HO Scale)

After a few requests here we are, an HO scale 1:87th version of the Traffic Message Board design (also known as a VMS).

 

The kit assembles rather easily, the wheels push onto the frame (note they don't roll) and the little riser feet install into small square cutouts in the frame. Pick your sign and place it in whichever orientation floats your boat.

 

I designed the signs to not require a VMS to complete as there are no multicolor layers, just all black for the base and all yellow for the top. While the wheels do require a VMS to make them multicolor just set the rim solid to the same color as the tire to print without a VMS. 

 

Included in the print profile above are the 5 basic sign texts. If there's anything specific you are looking for let me know!

 

EDIT: Added a new plate to the print profile for “Blank Sign” where individual pixels are shown as separate solids in the “Objects” tab. Select the ones you want to delete and edit away to (very tediously) make your own sign! Curious how that works out!
