Description

Most available emblem light solutions for the Pilot-RC F-16 1/5 fail at one critical point:
the lighting angle.

Instead of properly illuminating both the emblem and the vertical stabilizer, they either scatter light inefficiently or miss the target area completely.

This design solves that problem.

The housing is engineered with a true 30° tilt, ensuring that both the emblem and the rudder are illuminated in a realistic and scale-accurate way.

  • Designed specifically for Pilot-RC F-16 1/5
  • Integrated mount for standard 5mm LED reflector
  • Compatible with 3W high-power LED
  • Controlled light direction through geometry (not trial-and-error)
  • Clean, scale-like appearance when printed in silver filament

Result:

A clearly visible, properly directed illumination that significantly improves the scale realism—especially in low-light or night conditions.

 

⚙️ Print & Assembly Notes

  • Material: PLA or PETG (recommended: silver for scale look)
  • Layer height: 0.12 – 0.2 mm
  • Infill: 20–40%
  • Supports: Required (due to reflector mount and angled geometry)
  • Orientation: Print in a way that preserves smooth internal surfaces for optimal light output

Assembly:

  • Insert a standard 5mm LED reflector
  • Install a 3W power LED behind the reflector
  • Fix components via press-fit or light adhesive if needed

Notes:

  • PETG is recommended for better heat resistance when using high-power LEDs
  • Silver filament enhances the realistic “aluminum housing” appearance
  • Ensure proper cooling for the LED depending on your setup
