M22 Locust - Fully Printed 1:35 Model

 

Fully printed model of M22 Locust. Its made from 6 parts - Body, 2x Suspension, 2x Tracks, Star (at the top of body).

Scaled to widly used scale for tanks (1:35).

Since is this my first model, there could be inperfections or something that I could do next time better, if you find something, let me know.

Boost MeThis is my first ever 3D Tank model, your boost would help me a lot.

Info about Model + assembly photo:

The model is static (it woud not move), because of the small profile irl.

 

Because of the small profile and 0.4mm nozzle not beeing  able to print small prints that perfect. I removed the side stars, you can see them on picture, but .3mf is without them.

 

Parameters

Width (Y) :  64 mm

Legth (X) :  111 mm

Height (Z) :  42 mm

Everything is scaled by the real dimension of M22 Locust

 

The first plate can look with support bases (first layer supports base) overkill but trust me i had 2 failed prints because of the supports adhesion, so I made bigger bases and connected it in one piece so they will be more stable.

 

Filament to use

• Body: PLA Matte Dark Green - it does not have to be dark green or even Matte
• Tracks: PLA Basic Black - I did not have Matte Black, but every type of black should work
• Star: PLA Basic Jade White - again, I did not have Matte White, every white should work

 Assembly

•  Everything can be connected with SuperGlue
• Wheels will perfectly fit between tracks
• Made Holes and small connects to make it as precise as possible
