Description
This 3D-printed nasal dilator is designed to gently expand the nasal passages, helping improve airflow and make breathing easier, especially during sleep, exercise, or congestion. The ergonomic dual-arm design applies light outward pressure inside the nostrils, encouraging a more open airway while remaining compact and easy to insert or remove.
Why I Made This
I designed this because I have a deviated septum and was constantly buying nasal strips from the store just to sleep better at night. Over time, those costs added up. I made this (the 6th version) to offer a simple, low-cost solution that you can make at home whenever you need it.
Material & Hygiene Notice (PLA):
This model is printed in PLA, which is not inherently antimicrobial or medical-grade. I'm not a doctor or anything, but according to all things Reddit and Google, it's not recommended to reuse the same piece repeatedly over long periods.
Because these are quick and inexpensive to make, it’s best to print multiple units and rotate or replace them frequently.
