Description
Gridfinity baseplates completely remodelled from scratch, designed to minimise print time.
Designed for PLA and other materials with good first layer adhesion. You may need to add a brim to print with ASA/ABS.
You do not need to connect these together if you are putting them in drawers. Just fill the spaces around the drawer. You can do this by printing out spacers - you can design these right in your slicer with a few clicks! (you may need to take a couple of measurements and do just a tiny bit of mathematics)
First - open a new project in your slicer and add a “primitive” cube. You can find this by right clicking on your build plate.
Scale this cube by clicking “scale” on the top. Uncheck “uniform scale”.
Make the thickness 4.1mm to be the same thickness as the baseplates. The other dimensions depend on what size spacer you need for your drawer.
The print settings are up to you. You don't need a “top”, you can put these upside down. Edit the settings, copy and scale as needed and print! Now you have perfect spacers to prevent your grid from moving in your drawer.
And to fill up the bigger gaps on your drawers, these Half Grid Edge Baseplates!
If you've made spacers for some popular drawer models (example: Ikea BROR), please upload your spacer print profiles!
Try these superlight vase-mode bins!
