Description
This Austin 7 model captures the charm of the original 1920s–30s British microcar in a clean, printable form. The proportions stay true to the real thing: upright stance, narrow body, simple fenders, and that unmistakable vintage silhouette. It’s a fun, approachable print that assembles quickly and looks great in any color scheme. Whether you’re into classic cars, scale models, or just enjoy printing iconic shapes, this one feels satisfying from plate to finished piece.
Boost MeIf you enjoyed the print, consider boosting the model to help it reach more makers. Every boost helps keep new designs coming.
New Axle System (Cross‑Model Compatible)
This model debuts my updated axle design — a single rod that runs cleanly through the body, paired with cupped hubcaps that make gluing far easier and more consistent. The result is a stronger, smoother‑rolling setup that assembles with less fuss.
It’s fully compatible with my first toy car and will be the standard for all my car models going forward. And if you prefer the original axle style, this Austin 7 still works with the old system too — you’ll just need to use the wheels from v1.
If you make one, share your results — painted versions, alternate wheels, or any tweaks you try. It’s always fun seeing how different setups bring these little classics to life.
