This version allows you to power your turbine via any standard USB-C cable or power bank, eliminating the need for batteries. It features adjustable speed control thanks to the integrated PWM regulator.
🛠️ Required Components
To build this version, you will need the following parts:
The assembly is straightforward and requires minimal soldering:
USB-C Input: Connect the Positive (+) and Negative (-) wires from the USB-C socket to the Power Inputterminals on the PWM Regulator.
Motor Output: Connect the two wires from the TT Geared Motor to the Motor Output terminals on the PWM Regulator.
Adjustment: Use the potentiometer knob on the PWM regulator to turn the turbine on/off and control the rotation speed.
Note: Ensure your polarities match to avoid damaging the regulator. If the turbine spins backward, simply swap the two motor wires on the regulator output.
