ANZAC Curved Commemorative Lithophane – “Lest We Forget”

This project includes two print‑ready curved lithophanes inside one 3MF file:

• 100 mm height version – faster print with excellent clarity
• 150 mm height version – larger display size with deeper contrast

Both versions use the same carefully prepared master image, with clean silhouettes, balanced tonal depth, and strong backlit performance.

 

About This Lithophane

A curved ANZAC‑themed lithophane featuring the iconic red poppy and the words “Lest We Forget”, designed as a respectful commemorative piece for ANZAC Day. This model includes two sizes — 100 mm and 150 mm — both optimised for clean slicing, strong contrast, and reliable printing.

The lithophane is designed to stand upright when curved, allowing light to pass through the petals, stem, and text with crisp tonal separation.

 

Prepared for printing using the 0.16 mm N.M.P Edition lithophane profile.

The result is a clean, display‑ready lithophane suitable for stands, windows, or LED backlighting.

• 100 mm height version (approx. 2 hr 55 min print time)
• 150 mm height version (approx. 6 hr 2 min print time)

Both versions are:

• Fully sliced and ready to print
• Identical in curvature and depth mapping
• Prepared from the same master image for consistent results

Print Notes

All slicer settings are default, with only a few small adjustments for lithophane printing:

• Layer Height: 0.12 mm
• Top Layers: 0
• Bottom Layers: 0
• Infill Density: 100%
• Infill Pattern: Rectilinear
• Seam Position: Rear
• Supports: None
• Material: PLA

 

White or natural PLA gives the best backlit clarity. Curved lithophanes naturally sharpen when illuminated from behind.

 

Adhesion Note

For best results, print on a clean plate. PLA Basic White adheres very well, but if your plate is worn or has fingerprints, apply a light glue‑stick layer for extra grip.
