To play the first way all you need is the Normal plate. This is normal tic-tac-toe. You need:
The second way is printing the 4x4 expansion plate. This is the same except that its 4 squares by 4 squares. You need:
Setup:
Slide the connector pieces over the sides where the red arrows are in the image:
Rules:
To win you must get either:
4 in a row if the line of 4 goes through the middle
3 in a row if it's on the outside
3 in a row diagonally
The fourth way is 4x4 triple player. To play this you need:
Setup is the same as regular 4x4 version.
The fifth way is if you print the Ultimate expansion plate. This is the most complicated and has its own special rules. To play this version you need:
Setup:
Place one connector at each of the areas denoted by the red arrows in the image:
Rules:
Goal: win three small boards in a row
First decide who will go first. The first player chooses a board and places their piece in one of these squares.
Next the other player goes placing their piece in the board that corresponds to where the first player played:
Because the first player played in the bottom right corner the other player has to play in the bottom right board, highlighted in yellow.
Play continues like this until one player has gotten three in a row in one of the boards. Then this board has been won and if anyone else would have to place in this board they choose a board to place in instead.
First player to win three boards that make three in a row wins.
The second print profile is alternate pieces if you don't want to use poop.
