Customizable Cable Spool Organizer

Adjust the dimensions to match your needs. I hope you will find this useful :)

The print profile is available in three sizes:

  • Small: Total Height: 25mm Total Diameter: 62mm, those are the default settings available under the Customizable. It should be enough for a 1-1.5m cable. This is the light grey spool with a white cable. As you can see in the picture, it has a 1m cable and still some space left.
  • Mid: Total Height: 35mm Total Diameter: 70mm, should fit 2-2.5 meters of cable similar to the one used for MacBook charging.
  • Big: Total Height: 35mm Total Diameter: 95mm, should fit 7m meters of cable similar to the one used for MacBook charging.

Parameter Guide:

  • Center_Hole_Diameter: The width of the empty hole in the middle of the spool.
  • Center_Cylinder_Thickness: How thick and strong the central winding tube is.
  • Total_Spool_Height: The overall height of the spool from the top plate to the bottom plate.
  • Outer_Plate_Extension: How far the top and bottom plates stick out to hold your wrapped cable.
  • Outer_Plate_Thickness: How thick the top and bottom plates are.
  • Cable_Grip_Depth: How deep the notch sinks into the central cylinder to mechanically grip your wire so it doesn't slip.
  • Top_Catch_Count: The number of cutouts on the top plate. Having multiple gives you options for where to lock in the end of the cable.
  • Bottom_Catch_Count: The number of cutouts on the bottom plate. You usually only need 1 to anchor the start of your cable.
  • Cable_Gap_Width: The size of the cutout gap. Measure your specific cable and add 0.5mm for a perfect fit!
