Funnel for windshield washer fluid

This is my funnel for windshield washer fluid reservoir!

General information:

I fitted the funnel with a splash guard to prevent spilling of the fluids.

The funnel fits filler necks with an inner diameter of equal or less than 40mm.

It fits my VW perfectly and should fit many other models and manufacturers.

It's best to measure your vehicle before printing and then scale the model accordingly in your slicer.

Print profile:

I set up some custom supports to prevent the model from falling over during printing.

The custom supports leave zero marks on your model!

The supports either fall off automatically when you remove the model from the build plate, or you can simply break them off. The best thing about the supports is that they leave absolutely no marks!

Filament:

PLA should be sufficient when using the funnel for washer fluid. If you want to be on the safe side, use PETG as it has some chemical resistance. PETG is resistant to diluted alcohols (in antifreeze) and cleaning agents.

Printed parts are often not 100% waterproof. Post-treatment e.g. with epoxy resin or clear varnish spray may be necessary.
