Animal Crossing Balloon Present Gift Box S/M size

A 3D-printable gift box inspired by the balloon present from Animal Crossing. The lid is removable so you can actually store small items inside. The ribbon wraps around the box as press-fit pieces, and the balloon attaches via a string rod.

The model includes 8 part types (12 pieces total): a hollow bottom box with ribbon grooves, four side ribbon strips, a removable lid with a center string hole, two cross-shaped ribbon bands for the lid top, a decorative bow, a string rod, and a two-piece balloon (neck and body).

To assemble, press the ribbon strips into the box grooves, set the lid on top, and layer the two ribbon bands in a cross. Place the bow at the center, thread the string rod up through the bow, ribbon bands, and lid hole, then attach the balloon neck and body to the top of the rod.

Note: Glue is required for assembly.

Recommended print settings: 0.2mm layer height, 15–20% infill. Supports needed for the ribbon bow only.

*Some printers may produce tighter holes depending on filament or settings. If the string does not fit through the lid ribbon cross, a "larger hole" version is included with slightly bigger holes (4.8mm instead of 4.6mm, +0.2mm diameter). Only the Lid Ribbon Cross (D) needs to be replaced — all other parts are the same.
