🚀 Utility Knife – Slim & Wire Stripper
The ultimate precision tool for the modern maker’s workspace.
The Slim & Wire Stripper Utility Knife is designed for those who appreciate sleek, minimalist engineering without compromising on performance. With a remarkably thin 13mm handle profile, this knife offers exceptional control and portability. Whether you are performing fine detail cuts or stripping electrical wires on the fly, this tool delivers a rock-solid, professional feel right from your build plate.
✨ Why print this?
Ultra-Slim Profile: At just 13mm thick, the handle is designed for maximum maneuverability and easy storage in tight pockets or tool kits.
Integrated Wire Stripper: Features a dedicated, built-in stripping notch, transforming your cutter into a dual-purpose electrical companion.
Enhanced Blade Stability: Completely redesigned mounting system ensure the blade stays fixed with zero wobble, providing the confidence needed for precision cuts.
Sleek Aesthetics: Designed with a modern, high-contrast look that perfectly showcases the clean lines of your 3D printer’s capabilities.
🛠️ Compatibility & Requirements
Hardware: Requires 6x BT3x5 self-tapping screws. Note: These are the exact same screws used for the Bambu Lab P1P DIY Shell and P1S panels. If you have spares from those builds, you are ready to go!
Blade: Designed for standard trapezoid utility blades. The upgraded mounting geometry guarantees a secure, rigid fit.
Print Optimized: Designed with smart orientation in mind, ensuring a sturdy build and a professional "factory" finish straight off the build plate.
💡 Assembly & Usage Tips
Pro Tip: For the best balance of rigidity and screw-hole durability, I recommend printing the main body with at least 3 walls and using PLA+ or PETG.
Assembly: Place the blade into the main body first, then secure the blade clamp and the decorative grip plates using the self-tapping screws. Note: Do not overtighten the screws!
Care: Do not overtighten the screws—snug is sufficient to keep the slim profile perfectly aligned.
