Enhance the look and functionality of your IKEA Kallax shelving unit with these custom-designed, 3D-printable feet.

Unlike slide-on alternatives, these feet are designed to be permanently screwed directly into the bottom of the Kallax unit. This ensures a secure, stable fit that will not shift or fall off when moving the furniture. The angled design provides a modern aesthetic while lifting the unit off the floor, allowing for easier cleaning underneath and providing clearance for baseboards or uneven flooring.

Features:

  • Secure screw-in mounting system with counterbored holes to hide screw heads.
  • Modern, angled profile that complements the Kallax design.
  • Lifts the unit to protect the bottom from floor moisture and dirt.

Hardware Required:

  • 2x20mm wood screws per foot.

Recommended Print Settings:

  • Material: PETG, ABS, or high-toughness PLA (standard PLA may deform over time under heavy loads).
  • Wall Loops (Perimeters): Minimum 4-5 for structural strength.
  • Infill: 20% - 35% Gyroid or Cubic for load-bearing capacity.

Installation:

  1. Empty your Kallax unit and carefully lay it on its side or back on a soft surface.
  2. Position the printed feet at the corners of the base.
  3. Fasten the feet securely using the appropriate screws.
