Build Plate Cleaner - Easy Microfiber Install

Redesigned for Fast & Easy Microfiber Swap

Inspired by the excellent design from K-Studio.ca, which I've been using and loving every single day, I got tired of one recurring annoyance: swapping the microfiber cloth was always a hassle because of the bolt protruding from the base. So I went back to Fusion 360 and redesigned the whole thing from scratch.

The result? A cleaner, faster, and much more practical tool:

• Microfiber cloth replacement is now quick and effortless — no more fighting with a protruding screw

• Faster print with less material used, without sacrificing precision or comfort of use

• The design is fully functional and refined for daily use

What's included in this model:

• Base + Knob with screw — recommended to print separately for best results

• Simple tray — also redesigned and lightened compared to the original

• Tray with IPA bottle/dispenser holder — supports bottles up to 48mm diameter (e.g. from Temu), available in two versions:

  • Full holder + empty tray section (for whatever you need on your desk)

  • Holder only

Tips:

• Cut the microfiber cloth to approximately 7 × 13 cm (as shown in the photos)

• Print the knob + screw separately from the base

• A dedicated print profile for the A1 Mini is included
