Printing tips from the creator

• Material Choice: I highly recommend PLA or PETG (I only tested them). You want a material that has a little bit of "flex" so those hinges stay durable and don't snap during the fold so using for example silk filaments is not recommended

   

• Fold Warm  - For the best results, bend your pots immediately while they are still warm from the build plate. If they’ve already cooled down, a quick blast with a hair dryer will make them perfectly pliable again.

   

• Watch First Layer - Since the hinges are thin and precise, make sure your bed is leveled and your flow is calibrated. A clean first layer is the key to a long-lasting hinge.

   

• Assembly - Give the hinges a gentle pre-bend before snapping the pots into the main tray. Once they are seated in the base, the structure becomes incredibly rigid and ready for soil!
