Description
The IKEA JALL drying rack is very popular. But socks can take a lot of space on it.
I made this simple sock rail to save space. With my normal laundry, socks used two full rails. Now, they use much less space. I saved over 600% of space compared to hanging socks without clothespins.
📏I have two versions for you:
Long version for 8 pairs of socks (231mm)
Short version for 6 pairs (158mm). Good for small printers like Ender 3 or Bambu A1 mini.
I made this model to be flexible and strong. It holds your socks well and is safe for delicate things like tights. It will not damage your clothes.
It uses very little material:
- Long version: about 10g
- Short version: about 7g

❗Important for slicing! ❗(for non-Bambu printers)
There is a small 0.2mm gap between the clips. It works well with Bambu Studio slicer. In Cura (and maybe other slicers), you might see a problem. The slicer will try to fill this gap.
Solution: In Cura, change the "Minimum Wall Line Width" setting to 0.2mm.
Or, you can use a 0.2mm nozzle. This will work without problems.
