Description
I’ve been iterating on Commander deck boxes for a while now, and this is my third take—refined based on what actually matters when you’re using one regularly. A lot of designs out there look great but fall short in everyday use, so this version focuses on practicality, durability, and ease of use.
This box is built to comfortably hold a full 100-card double-sleeved Commander deck, with a bit of extra space for tokens, and another for sideboard/more tokens. The fit is dialed in to keep everything secure without feeling cramped or making it a hassle to grab your deck.
The front features a dedicated commander display slot. This keeps your commander protected while showing it off, and makes it easy to swap cards depending on the deck.
For the closure, I stuck with a mechanical latch. It’s simple, reliable, and holds up well during transport—no magnets, no fuss. It stays closed in a bag but opens easily when you need it. The lid has textured sides to make removing the lid easier when needed.
The overall design is clean and functional, with thicker walls in key areas for added durability. No unnecessary textures or gimmicks—just a solid, reliable deck box that prints well on most machines using standard PLA settings.
If you print one, I’d love your feedback:
