Description

I wanted a button box but none of the available designs fit my needs and liking so I designed one myself. My goal: all-in-one sim racing button box designed around an integrated Stream Deck module and SimHub workflow. Combines programmable display keys with illuminated push buttons, toggle switches, and rotary controls in a compact Porsche-inspired enclosure for a cleaner, more premium rig setup. Keep facial panel clean without any screws, magnetic mounting bracket for ease of attach & removal and relatively thinner body.

Hardware:

  • Stream deck 15 key module (the one with exposed PCB without stand and enclosure)
  • USB hub module Link
  • Illuminated toggle switch x4 (2 positions, 3-6v, 16mm) Link
  • Illuminated self reset switch x5 (3-6v) Link
  • Rotary encoder x3 Link
  • USB-C female connector 4pin Link
  • 20cm USB-A to USB-C cable x2 Link
  • M3x30 screw x6
  • M3x4.2x5 brass heat insert nut x10
  • M3x8 screws x4

Wiring:

USB hub module is rested on the bottom horizontally, there is no need to screw it down as the wiring will push it down securly.

Arduino nano is placed inside the small enclosure on the side. The enclosure base is attached to the button box by super glue.
