Modular Container planter V1, (V2 featuring hex and circular design available, see my other models).

Now hear me out…these Brooklea (Aldi) yoghurt tubs from are a good size and functionality for planters, containers, paint scuttles and cat treat storage. They're too good to keep sending to recycling/landfill, they are waterproof, solid, and have a lid. I use two per month, so I built a design round them.

This specific yoghurt tub is Aldi (Trader Joes?) but other brand of peanut butter etc use similar dims.

This hex planter design comes with a key slot to fix together multiples should you want to. They don't need to be planters, and could happily screw to a wall for displaying artefacts.

I use a 0.6 nozzle with a 0.36 layer height usually, giving a 7.5hr print. A 0.4 nozzle is significantly longer, but I understand this is most people's weapon of choice.

You'll get a stringing around the threaded part of the main pot when printing, this is because of the overhangs and/or retractions around the thread - but this is because I've made the walls as thin as possible to reduce filament. Also…it doesn't bother me as the yoghurt tub hides any anomalies inside.

I got a little elephant-footing on this brown one, I suspect this is my printer but see how you get on. See how you get on.

Thanks for visiting, see my other models for the V2 version coming soon. And yes, yoghurt does contain an h.
