Grommet fasteners with base and cover cap

This is an easy way to secure a banner or tarp with a grommet hole. A grommet is like a donut-shaped rivet with a hole in the center to hang banners, like my neighborhood banner pictured here, or for any other tarps or banners where you may wish to secure a grommeted hole. My solution evelved from the wind blowing my banner off of nail heads.

The base part attached with a small-head or finishing head screw, the grommet goes over this base mount and the cover plate snaps on over the screw and base mount providing a decorative and secure cover.
