Material Recommendation
PLA can be used outdoors but is not recommended for greenhouse use, as it may deform under higher temperatures.
For best results, use:
PETG – good heat resistance and easy to print
ASA – excellent heat and UV resistance, ideal for long-term outdoor use
ASA Print Settings:
If warping becomes an issue, consider printing fewer labels at a time (4–5 per print).
Printing Notes (Manual Filament Change)
The included print profile is configured with pause commands for manual filament changes to achieve dual-color text.
This allows for clean and readable text using a simple filament swap.
The model is compatible with both manual filament changes and multi-material systems. The included profile uses pause commands for easy color changes without AMS.
⚠️ Important
The specified pause layers are based on the following layer settings:
If you change layer heights, the pause may no longer align correctly with the text layers.
Make sure to adjust the pause height in your slicer if you modify these settings.
All parts in this profile are scaled to 90%.
Scaling below 80% is not tested and may affect fit and tolerances.
Notes
Designed with practical tolerances for a reliable push-fit connection. Parts fit securely while still allowing easy assembly and removal. Slight material flexibility ensures a strong grip without damaging the model.
Feel free to modify and customize for personal use.
I use a POSCA pen to write on the labels for clean and durable markings.
Happy printing and planting 😊
