Description

This LED diffuser is designed for 10mm-wide LED strips. The LED strip is inserted into the lower half, and then the cover is placed on top.

The cover stays in place without adhesive and simply clips into position. The cover is thin enough to be printed with standard white PLA.

The individual parts can be assembled using the puzzle connectors. Glue can be used here as needed. The entire LED strip can then be glued or otherwise secured in the desired location.

For the ends of the strips, there are specially shortened versions that you can customize in Bamublab. To do this, use the modifiers that are already in place; you can adjust the size using the scaling tool.

The following image shows the connection point between the elements. The easiest way to assemble them is to lay the parts flat on the table, with the connections facing down, and then press them together firmly.

The orientation in the image is shown only to illustrate the connection.

To improve stability, I recommend mounting the lid offset on the base pieces; this will make the structure much more stable.
