F-150 Headrest Hook

Big shout out to https://makerworld.com/en/@REsliced for inspiring this double hook for me!!

 

What it is:

It's a simple headrest double hook designed specifically for a Ford F-150. It's got a double hook for multiple items like a bag and a baseball cap (or hard hat) and it's got some really smooth edges. 

• Thanks to User @MrTomatoFace they say it fits 23+ Ford Super Duty trucks as well! 

 

Why I made it:

I took extra care to smooth and bevel as much as I could and also design the bend so it's super sleek feeling but also super gentle on your truck's leather too. It will likely fit other vehicles fine as well but if you're an F-150 owner this one is for you!

 

Why it’s useful:

- Utilizes otherwise unused space.

- Keeps your bags off the floor of the cab.

- It's really multi purpose and can hold lots of different items.

 

Print notes:

- Material: Any PETG or stronger engineering filament of your choosing (not a great candidate for PLA).

- Layer height: .20mm but go even smaller if you want!

- Supports: None needed!

- Infill: 15% gyroid

- Estimated print time: About 90 minutes!

- Colors needed: Go wild and pick any color you have. Let me know if you really liked some fun color when you did it. 

 

Assembly / use:

Pull off your headrest and simply slide it on.
