3/4 Inch GHT to 5/8 Hose Barb Garden Hose Repair

¾ GHT to 5/8 Barb for repairing garden hoses or making custom length hoses. Simple Cut the old hose, insert the barb add a gasket to the female fitting and tighten with a hose clamp. 

I printed these in elegoo ASA and have no issues with leaking or the force of the hose clamp. PETG or ABS should function well also. 

I have included a tpu gasket for the female fitting, print in 95A or 85A tpu. Tpu for ams may be to stiff for good results. 

 

Theese fittings should fit most standard North American garden hoses and hose bibs. ¾ inch GHT is the name of the thread standard but the actual size of the threaded fitting is approx. 1 inch.

 

I would recommend tightening the hose clamp until snug then turning on water and tightening until the hose clamp no longer leaks, to avoid over tightening.
