Snappy AirTag Box

This stylish round AirTag box perfectly includes the Apple AirTag without the need of too much space. 

 

It is not working with a thread top lid. So open and closing is very fast, snappy and bozth are working in both directions.

 

You can use it for any kind of storage.

Used Parts:

 

1x Apple Airtag

2x Round 6x3mm Magnets

2x Heat set inserts M3 (Length max 4mm*)

2x Screw M3x5mm or M3x4mm Button head screw BHCS

                      (Countersunk- and cylinder head screws will also work)

 

*The linked heat set inserts from Bambu Store are working (M3x5x4), or the Voron ones (M3x5x4), or the “M3 short” ones (M3x4.6x4)

 

 

Build:

• Melt in the heat set inserts in the “Top”
• Press in the 6x3mm Magnets (Note that they are press fit so it needs a bit of force)
  • Make sure to align the polarity correct. (Both magnets in the base should be pressed in the same polarity)
  • You can use a small amount of glue if you want
• Place the Airtag on the “Top”, put the AirTag “Cover” on top and Screw it with the 2x M3x4mm screws hand tight in
