This is a 3D-printable bluebird mealworm feeder designed specifically around the common 1.25 lb mealworm cake, approximately 6 x 8 inches. 3.5mm holes are built into the back for mounting directly to a fence (for example) and in the roof to mount to a hanger. 3.5mm holes in the back of the feeder for mounting using wood screws and in the roof for mounting to a hanger!

 

The feeder has a raised tray base that holds the cake securely, while the roof helps protect the food from light rain, sun, and larger birds hovering directly over the tray. The design also works well with loose dried mealworms, mealworm crumble, or other bluebird-friendly foods.

 

The outside faces include a wood-textured plastic finish, giving the feeder a more natural appearance while still being fully printable and weather-resistant depending on the filament used.
