Description

This straight track is an alternative to using a flexible factory track to guide the car into banked corners. The track starts flat, gradually slopes to a 45-degree incline, and connects to the 45° banked corner in my 45° banked Pack. https://makerworld.com/en/models/2618228-45deg-banked-curve-pack-1-64-diecast-compatible

If you connect the slopes on the left and right sides, these can also be used as a slalom of sorts.

The 3mf file contains left and right tracks for entering and exiting inclined curves, because the ramps are directional, so you need both.

I have also included the ability to customize the length of the track as a parametric model.

When customizing the track length, the length of 34 mm on each side (68 mm in total) remains unchanged to allow space for the connector.

Therefore, the actual track length will be 68 mm plus whatever number you enter in the custom tool. Entering 110 mm will give you a 178 mm track (basically the maximum size of the A1 mini).

Print -

  • I have tested the print configuration on the CoreXY and my bed printer to ensure it prints correctly using the included settings.
  • These designs are for vertical printing to make the track surface as smooth as possible.
  • The bottom of the track is designed with a support area. This provides a larger, flat area for placement during printing and use. It also provides a support area to prevent printing failure due to its height.

As always, please let me know if you encounter any problems, and I'd be happy to help.
