Customizable Parametric Wall Home Decor Art Tiles

Update: I noticed a lot of people are struggling to use the customizer because it's a bit technical so I've updated the print profile to include 16 models I've generated with this module if you want to just download them and use any you like 🤍 

I built these interlocking parametric wall tiles to give you full control over your room decor without needing to learn complicated modeling software. You can use the customizer tool right here on MakerWorld to tweak the ripples topography and geometric patterns to fit exactly what you need for your space. It is a fully modular system so you can print as many pieces as you want and snap them together to cover an entire wall or just make a small accent piece above your desk.

People are always looking for ways to improve room acoustics or just make their background look better for video calls and streams. These tiles work great as textured wall art and act as basic geometric sound diffusers to help break up audio reflections in empty rooms. Since the files are completely customizable you can easily experiment with different layer heights filament colors and perimeter walls to get unique lighting effects when you shine an RGB lamp on them.

The puzzle style interlocking tabs are designed with a tight tolerance so they hold together nicely once mounted on the wall. I highly recommend using a textured PEI plate to give the bottom surface a nice clean finish just in case you want to mount them backwards or need better bed adhesion for the sharp corners. You can easily stick them to your drywall using standard double sided mounting tape.
