Fisher's Miter Saw Shroud

A redesigned dust‑collection port for the BOSCH 12in Axial Glide GCM12SD sliding dual-bevel miter saw that puts the vacuum suction much closer to the actual dust source behind the fence. This simple upgrade captures dramatically more dust than the stock port.  Shroud has a 1 ½" vacuum port which is standard for most shop vacs.  This shroud is only to be used for cross-cutting and needs to be removed if you're doing miters or bevels.  It's very easy to install, just drop it in behind the fence.  There are 2 tabs that auto-index it so it's just behind the fence.  The stock hold-down clamp is used to secure it to the saw's surface and holds it tight.  If it doesn't quite fit, there are 2 allen screws behind each side of the fence that allow minor adjustments to the fence so that this shroud will fit.  To install, release one of the fence wingnut bolts and slide a fence out, drop shroud in, slide fence back so it's snug against shroud, and tighten bolt back down.  If you enjoy the print, consider giving it a BOOST!  For more information on this shroud, and others, please watch the YouTube video:
