Description

Fancy Jewel handled modular telescoping Magic Wand / Saber

Bring a little magic to your prints with this modular, interchangeable telescoping wand system. Designed for both durability and flexibility, this wand lets you easily swap styles, colors, and blade types without reprinting the entire model.

Key Features

  • Modular Design – Three-piece system for easy assembly and customization
  • Interchangeable Wand Blades – Swap out styles or colors anytime
  • Secure Screw Assembly – Keeps everything firmly in place during use
  • Compact Storage – Telescoping design retracts neatly into the handle
  • Multiple Style Variants – Works across all compatible handle and blade designs

Components

Each wand consists of three main parts:

  1. Handle (threaded base)
  2. Telescoping Wand Blade
  3. Threaded End Cap

Assembly is simple:
Insert the telescoping blade into the handle, then screw on the end cap to secure it.
To change styles or replace a blade, just unscrew and swap—no hassle.

Printing Recommendations

Material

  • PETG (Recommended): Stronger and more durable, especially for the wand tip
  • PLA: Works fine, but tips may be more prone to breaking

Orientation

  • Printed upside down for best structural strength
  • The wand blade is printed inside the handle, improving stability during printing

Blade-Only Prints

  • Profiles may include wand blade–only versions, but:
    • Use a generous brim for stability
    • Bed slinger printers may struggle with these
    • For best results, print the full assembly together

Customization Ideas

  • Mix and match handle and blade colors
  • Create themed sets (wizard, elemental, sci-fi, etc.)
  • Print multiple blades and swap based on mood or display

This system is designed to make your wand collection expandable, customizable, and easy to maintain—perfect for display, cosplay, or just a bit of everyday magic.
