Description

These are magnetic body positioning posts for RC cars, trucks, and other vehicles, particularly for lexan bodies and shells. They are designed to hold 6 mm x 6 mm magnets.

Using the magnetic body positioning posts is easy and is shown in the photographs:

  • Insert 6 mm x 6 mm magnets in the top of the posts with a bit of superglue.
  • Place the posts in your RC chassis at the appropriate height for your RC lexan body.
  • Position the RC lexan body over the chassis where you want it to sit.
  • Place a second set of 6 mm x 6 mm magnets over the posts (where they will be attracted to the magnets in the post).
  • Trace around the magnets on top of the body using a fine-tipped marker.
  • Ream out the holes using a lexan reamer.
