Xiaomi Scooter 6 Lite — Folding Hinge Bolt Cap

Replacement bolt cap for the folding hinge mechanism on the Xiaomi

Electric Scooter 6 Lite (model BHR08R6GL).

The original cap on the folding clamp can crack, get scuffed, or simply
go missing — especially after frequent folding/unfolding. This is a
direct-fit print-in-place replacement. It covers the head of the hinge
bolt, protects it from dirt and water, and slides cleanly over the
locking lever bracket thanks to the 20×4 mm side slot.

DIMENSIONS
- Outer Ø 40 mm at the base, Ø 30 mm at the top
- Total height: 20 mm
- Wall thickness: 3 mm
- Top countersink: Ø 13 mm, 90° (for an M5 countersunk / flat-head bolt)
- Through-hole: Ø 5 mm
- Side slot: 20 × 4 mm (clears the bracket lug)

PRINT SETTINGS (recommended)
- Material: PETG or ABS preferred (PLA works but is less UV/heat tolerant)
- Layer height: 0.16–0.20 mm
- Infill: 30–40% gyroid
- Walls: 3–4 perimeters
- Supports: NOT required if printed top-down (countersink face on the
 build plate, open skirt facing up). The slot prints clean as a bridge.
- Brim: 5 mm recommended for adhesion (small contact patch)

INSTALLATION
1. Remove the existing bolt and old cap (if any).
2. Slide the new cap over the hinge so the slot lines up with the
  locking-lever bracket.
3. Insert the M5 countersunk bolt through the top, tighten to spec.

NOTES
- Designed and measured from a real part — fit verified on a 6 Lite (GL).
 May also fit other Xiaomi scooters with the same hinge clamp; please
 confirm dimensions before printing a batch.
