Description
This case combines the best of both words - a place for the IFIXIT Mako driver and bits, as we ll as a slot for the HOTO Precision Screwdriver.
Storytime: I lost my HOTO Precision Screwdriver case with bits on the floor. Bits went everywhere, and I have yet to recover five of them.
But that's ok, I prefer the IFIXIT bits. So I made this - the IFIXIT x HOTO case that can hold them both!
Features a grid-pattern in the lid for screw organization.
Now you can have your entire toolset of precision screw drivers tools with you in one single case!
Printing: I suggest using PETG or stronger materials for longevity, but PLA can probably work fine.
Assembly: The case uses 8 pcs 5x3mm magnets. Be mindful of magnet orientation.
Press-fit 5x3mm magnets into the magnet insert holes. If you are having a hard time press-fitting them,
apply heat using a heat gun to temporarily soften the insert holes. Pressfit magnets into place.
If needed, apply some glue to the holes before placing magnets.
Once magnets are in place, the lid can be snapped on the case.
