Designed to look great in translucent PLA, PETG, or vase-style prints, these cups create beautiful light effects and a realistic frosted-glass appearance when printed with transparent filament.

Important:
These models are intended mainly as decorative containers, pen holders, desk organizers, or display pieces rather than everyday drinking glasses.

Recent studies discussed by mechanical engineer Matt Thomas suggest that properly cleaned PLA and PETG prints may be safer for occasional food contact than commonly believed, and that concerns about bacteria hiding permanently in layer lines are often overstated.

However, PLA can deform with heat, acidic drinks may affect some plastics over time, and different filaments may contain additives not intended for long-term beverage use. Because of this, these are best suited for decoration or light non-critical use.
