Bring more birds into your garden with this 3D printable mason jar bird feeder, designed to hold a standard glass mason jar and turn it into a simple, attractive seed feeder.

 

This feeder currently works with mason jars measuring approximately 130 mm tall by 80 mm in diameter. The jar sits horizontally inside the frame, with the printed parts forming a sturdy holder, feeding opening, perch, and base tray.

 

The design uses a charming house-shaped side profile, making it look great in the garden while staying practical and easy to assemble. The front and back holes are included so you can attach hanging wires, cord, or similar hardware if you want to suspend the feeder from a branch, hook, or garden frame.

 

Prints in separate pieces, an extremely small amount of gluing required.

This listing is for the 3D printed feeder frame only. Mason jar, bird seed, hanging wire, and any additional hardware are not included.

For outdoor use, I recommend printing in a weather-resistant filament such as PETG, ASA, or another outdoor-suitable material. PLA may work temporarily outdoors but can soften or degrade over time in heat, sunlight, or wet weather.
