UPDATES 2026 MAY 12
Safety disclaimer & project update:
The original intention of this holder was to help reduce exposure of toothbrushes to particles and moisture in bathrooms where the toilet is located very close to the basin.
That’s also why the ventilation openings were intentionally designed to stay mostly hidden on the back and bottom instead of directly facing outward.
After release, several users raised valid concerns regarding hygiene, moisture buildup, and long-term cleanliness for bathroom-related 3D prints.
After reading all the feedback, I decided not to ignore the discussion and instead updated the project with 2 additional print profiles featuring a new vent-grid bottom design for improved airflow and drainage.
The new vent-grid profiles include:
The mesh area is printed without top/bottom layers to allow moisture to escape more easily and improve ventilation.
That said, regular cleaning is still highly recommended like any other bathroom accessory.
I really appreciate all the constructive discussion and feedback around this project 🙌
No assembly required.
Just remove the supports after printing and it’s ready to use.
Designed to fit most standard toothbrushes on the market.
(Electric toothbrush compatibility may vary depending on handle size.)
Size: 28 × 42 × 47 mm
The wall mount and toothbrush holder are separated into two parts.
The wall hook can stay mounted permanently using:
When needed, simply lift the entire toothbrush case off the wall and bring it with you for travel.
Easy to dock back into place after use.
Adaptive layer height is recommended for the best surface quality.
Compatible with:
0.4 nozzle recommended.
Print time is under 2 hours.
No brim required.
To reduce shrink marks and improve appearance, “Slow Down for Overhangs” is disabled in the print profile.
No AMS required.
Bridge flow is tuned to 1.5 and 0.2 mm support top Z distance to improve support surface quality.
Support removal may require slightly more force, but this setup gives a much cleaner supported surface compared to standard settings.
AMS required.
Optimized for dedicated support interface materials to achieve an extremely clean support surface.
Only one small supported area uses interface material support layer set to 4 layer for better support top finishing, so filament switching happens only 4 times and does not significantly increase print time.
This project focuses on:
