Standard fuse bead plates often have sharp corners and thin edges that can be brittle or uncomfortable for small hands. These custom-designed XL Bead Boards are specifically engineered for toddlers and young children using large (10mm) beads.

Key Improvements

  • Safety First: All corners and outer edges are fully rounded to prevent scratches and poke hazards.
  • Enhanced Durability: The base is slightly thicker than generic plates to prevent warping under heat and ensure a long life.
  • Toddler Friendly: The pegs are optimized for easy bead placement, helping kids develop fine motor skills without frustration.
  • High Quality: High-resolution geometry ensures a smooth, premium finish compared to basic scans or low-poly designs.

Print Settings

  • Material: PETG is recommended for better heat resistance during ironing, though PLA works fine if you let it cool completely before removing the beads.
  • Infill: 15-20% Gyroid
  • Walls: 3 walls for extra strength on the pegs.
  • Layer Height: the print profile contains a variable layer height for extra smoth and round peaks.

 

Suitable for ironing beads of 10mm height.
