Description
Rugged Case with Cable Entry for Charging.
It is HIGHLY recommended to use glue or some other interface to help with the TPU removal from the build plate especially if you are printing on a textured plate.
I had extrusion issues while printing the top half of the TPU inlay which is why the surface finish appears rough. The bottom inlay is a better representation of how this case should look. If anybody prints this case and would like to share photos for the model pictures, that would be appreciated as I don't want to use extra TPU reprinting another inlay.
Print profiles compatible with the A1 mini have been added.
Print profiles have been added that include a cable entry for controller charging while in the case
This model differs slightly from the original where the larger cutouts for the thumb sticks are now the default. Previously these larger thumb stick cutouts were offered as a separate print profile. These larger thumb-stick openings have been added to account for thumb grip caps similar to these. Thumb Grips
Handle for case now added here. Print profiles for both the default case size and A1 mini version are added.
This is a rugged case with TPU inlay that I designed to hold the new Steam Controller (2026) as well as all the accessories the controller came with. This case provides a very snug fit with no movement of the controller when closed. The case requires 6x M3x30mm screws for assembly. Glue can also be added for the assembly of the TPU inlays and outer shells.
It was pointed out that this case also doubles as a decent repair jig.
