Description

This T-Rex isn’t just cool in appearance, it also lets you enjoy the fun of assembling it! With multiple movable joints, you can easily pose it in different ways. It’s not only a striking desk decoration but also a highly interactive model. Assembly instructions attached.

Key Features of the model:

  • Supports needed
  • Printed in 3 separate plates
  • Articulated joints, with VERY tight tolerances. Joint parts (plate 3) are duplicated to have spare and replace them in case you brake one or more during assembly.
  • Print Settings:
    • Nozzle Diameter: 0.4 mm
    • Layer Height: 0.16 mm
    • Infill: 15%
    • Wall Loops: 2
    • Recommended filaments: Red Silk PLA, Grey PLA, Gold Silk PLA, White PLA

I strongly recommend a toolchanger printer to print this model with the multicolor print profile (H2C, Snapmaker U1, Creator 5, etc.) as plates 1 and 2 will require ~1600 and ~2000 filament changes, respectively. I attached a second non-colored print profile in case you don't own one of these printers.

I used a Snapmaker U1 to print this one (despite printing profiles you see are for A1, I didn't use it for this model for obvious wasting material and time reasons).

This model is not mine nor I designed it, I dowloaded and addapted it from Snapmaker prints site to make it available for more people who love mechas and dinosaurs (like me). I can't link the original model as it's embedded in Snapmaker OrcaSlicer home page and doesn't have a link. All credits to the original creator Melting Point.
