The Organic Mesh Cup Holder is a practical desk accessory designed to keep your drink within easy reach while saving valuable desk space. Featuring an organic Voronoi-inspired mesh pattern, it combines functional strength with a modern geometric aesthetic, making it a great fit for gaming setups, workspaces, or workshops.

 

Available Variants

 

This model is available in two separate sizes, each with its own print profile:

Cup Holder VBIG

• Fits cups with up to 80 mm bottom diameter 
• Cup holder height: 65 mm 
• Compatible with surfaces up to 52 mm thickness (C-clamp opening) 

Cup Holder VSMALL

• Fits cups with up to 72 mm bottom diameter 
• Cup holder height: 44 mm 
• Compatible with surfaces up to 31 mm thickness (C-clamp opening)

 

Assembly Instructions

 

Each version (big or small) consists of 4 parts:

1. Screw knob 
2. C-Clamp 
3. Organic Mesh Cup Holder (outer shell with mounting attachment) 
4. Inner Cup Holder

 

 

Step 1

 

Insert the Screw knob (1) into the C-Clamp (2) and mount it onto the edge of a desk or table as shown.

Warning: Do not overtighten the screw, as excessive force may cause the C-Clamp to crack or break due to the limitations of 3D printed plastic.

 

 

Step 2

 

Attach the Inner Cup Holder (4) to the Organic Mesh Cup Holder (3) as shown in the assembly image.

Make sure to align the dedicated guide channels on both parts correctly, including the opening designed for the handle of a mug.

 

 

 

Step 3

Slide the assembled cup holder from Step 1 into the dedicated mounting channel on the C-Clamp, as shown in the image.

 

 

Slicer Instructions

 

If you are using Bambu Studio / Bambu Slicer, the recommended print settings are already included in the provided print profiles.

If you are using a different slicer, please make sure to apply the following settings:

Screw Knob

• 20% Infill 
• 2 walls 
• Gyroid infill pattern

C-Clamp

• 30% Infill 
• Gyroid infill pattern
• 4 walls 
• Supports enabled 
• Support type: Tree Auto (default settings) 

These settings are recommended to ensure adequate strength and durability for the functional parts of the assembly.

 

Other Warnings

• Do not place containers with very hot liquids in the cup holder if printed in PLA, as high temperatures may soften or deform the plastic.
• Always ensure the C-Clamp is securely mounted before placing a drink in the holder.

 

Future Updates

This project will continue to expand with additional accessories and components designed to be compatible with the current C-Clamp mounting system.
