Audemars Piguet x Swatch Royal Pop Wirst Adapter

Since the new Audemars Piguet x Swatch Royal Pop is releasing exclusively as a pocket watch, I wanted to create a way for us to actually wear it on our wrists. I modeled this custom case adapter to convert the pocket watch module into a standard wristwatch. The concept is straightforward you just remove the pocket watch from it's case, then put into the adpater. It completely transforms the piece and makes it practical for daily wear.

The inner tolerances are specifically dialed in to be a secure friction fit but not so tight that it risks scratching the original watch casing. I highly recommend printing this slowly to get the outer octagonal bezel geometry as crisp as possible. You can experiment with textured build plates or fuzzy skin settings to get that industrial matte finish shown in the photos. You will just need standard watch spring bars and your favorite strap to complete the conversion once the print finishes.

This design is built for standard universal 22mm watch bands.
