P1S TOP GLASS RISER WITH VENT

 

I present another improvement for the P1S printer.

 

During the design process, I was guided by the following guidelines:

- raised top cover to prevent the PTFE tube from rubbing against it

- ability to print PLA with the door closed

- shape adapted to the printer body

- SD card access

 

When printing PLA with the door open, the chamber temperature increased from 24°C to 32°C. With the door closed and the vent open, the temperature reached 37°C. A 5-degree temperature increase did not affect print quality, but noise decreased significantly.

 

To avoid risk of deformation due to temperature, I printed the riser from PETG.

 

Assembly is so simple that drawings are sufficient without any description.
