Description
This is my first attempt at creating an OpenSCAD model. The file allows you to generate simple, repeatable plant tags with configurable dimensions and customizable text for the plant name.
The design intentionally anchors the first character of the label to the flat end of the tag, ensuring the text remains fully within the printable area and never extends past the physical edge. This makes the layout predictable and prevents text from being clipped during printing.
The primary goal of this project was to eliminate the need to redesign plant tags each season and to avoid repeatedly adjusting text alignment by hand. By making the layout parametric and consistent, the tags can be easily reused with different labels while maintaining correct positioning every time.
After exporting the STLs from OpenSCAD, I imported them into Bambu Studio and painted them by layer.
