3D Printing & AMS Guidelines
- Filament Choice: TPU (Flexible) is highly recommended, as it absorbs shock well and stretches easily over the phone. If printing in rigid filaments like PLA or PETG, it is recommended to keep the default tolerance at 0.2mm and utilize the open-sided design so the phone can easily snap in without shattering the plastic.
- Bambu Studio Dual-Color (AMS) Printing: Printing text in a secondary color is completely optimized! By selecting the default "Secondary Color (AMS Paint)" style, the text drops exactly 0.4mm (two standard layers). The script separates the text into a distinct positive volume, meaning Bambu Studio will recognize the text as a separate physical part when exported. You can simply click the text in your "Objects" list and assign it a different AMS filament slot without ever needing the color painting tool.
